These schemes are available to the public who live, work or have a GP’s practice in Nottinghamshire County, and they are all free to join. These can be beneficial to individuals that wish to change their lifestyle and are unsure how to take the initial step.
Here is a link to the Your Health Notts website which provides further details about each
initiative - Home - Your Health Nottinghamshire
For the majority of our services, individuals can either be referred by a healthcare professional or can sign up for the relevant scheme via our website, by phone / email, or through QR codes shared on social media / posters.
We understand that health and wellness are personal journeys, and we believe that each individual deserves a personalised approach to achieve their goals. Our schemes are designed to support individuals with their personal health and wellness journeys, and include different approaches such as face-to-face support, group sessions, phone apps etc.
Please feel free to follow Your Health Notts on social media, and be kept up to date with class schedules, new pop-up events and our community event diary.

Please take care on our public rights of way
With dry conditions increasing the risk of wildfires, the Rights of Way
Team are asking everyone using local footpaths, bridleways and other
public rights of way to take extra care.
Please:
- Stay on designated paths and follow any local warnings or restrictions.
- Do not light fires or use disposable barbecues.
- Never drop cigarettes, matches or other items that could start a fire.
- Take all rubbish home with you – including glass.
- Keep dogs under control and be mindful of livestock and wildlife.
- Please keep away from straw bales and do not climb on, move or damage them.
If you see smoke or a fire, move to a safe place and call 999. Do not attempt to tackle the fire yourself.
Parents & carers – please talk to children and young people about the consequences of deliberately starting fires. Setting fire to a straw bale or dry vegetation can have serious and potentially life-changing consequences. Wildfires can spread rapidly, particularly across dry grass, cropped fields and woodland. What may appear to be a harmless act or prank can quickly become a major emergency.
Your care and consideration can help protect our countryside, wildlife, local residents and emergency services.
Thank you for helping keep our local rights of way safe.
Bunny and Bradmore Charities Student Grants
Bunny and Bradmore Charities Student Grants
As the season for A Level results and decisions about future higher education approaches, the Charities may be able to assist students with a grant towards the costs of books or other course materials. We have in the past contributed towards the cost of books and on one occasion a stethoscope!
The grants are payable from the income of the Apprentice Fee Charity which was set up by the Parkyns family over 300 years ago. The aim of the Charity was to support young apprentices setting out on their chosen careers. Over the years, the number and nature of apprenticeships having changed, the Charity sought extensions to the Charity’s scheme to permit the Charity to make grants to students undertaking higher education courses to assist in their purchase of course materials. The Charity Commission approved this change.
Young persons under the age of 25 years living in the parishes of Bunny, Bradmore and Costock undertaking a course of higher education are eligible for a one-off grant. The scheme is not limited to new students but also to those already on a course who have not previously applied for a grant.
If you feel you meet the criteria or have a youngster who meets the criteria they may apply in writing to the Clerk to the Trustees at the address below, providing evidence of acceptance onto their chosen course. Applications will be considered by the Trustees at the next quarterly meeting following receipt of the application.
The next meetings are planned for 2nd September and 2nd or 9th December 2026.
Please apply in writing to:
